The Silverton Farmers Market first started in 2002 with three local farmers. It has since grown to include over 30 vendors during the peak summer season. In 2018 the market expanded to offer a Winter Market that is located indoors/outdoors from mid-October through the beginning of May.
Our purpose is to provide a direct outlet for local growers and producers and a source of fresh, high-quality farm and homemade products to our customers while enhancing the vitality of Silverton's community.
Our wintertime indoor/outdoor year-round market is held at the Friends Church/Community Roots School on 229 Eureka Ave, Silverton, Oregon.
Our vendors are practicing safety, physical distancing, and wellness. We're here for you, so please let us know how we can serve you.
All that being said, our vendors depend on you. We hope you find your shopping experience excellent in quality, cleanliness and friendliness. It's an energetic yet peaceful vibe that happens at our market. Let's make it work for the benefit of all.
Peace and Love!
DOUBLE UP FOOD BUCKS
We proudly participate in Double Up Food Bucks, which provides $10 in additional scrip when you use at least $10 from your EBT/SNAP card. You can spend these additional funds on fresh produce, nuts, mushrooms, dry beans and produce-bearing plants. People have to eat! Together with the Farmers Market Fund, Silverton Farmers Market is able to provide this benefit to our community!
